He has extensive expertise in mechanical and process design for upstream and downstream process industries, complemented by technology development across aerospace, process engineering, and energy recovery sectors. He has been recognised for innovation with multiple patents and numerous technical publications and has the proven ability to deliver technologies that enhance efficiency, sustainability, and operational performance.
David leads projects that integrate advanced modelling, process optimisation, and cutting-edge engineering strategies for global clients. His career spans aerospace, process engineering and energy recovery - delivering practical solutions to complex technical challenges.

Formally educated at the University of East Anglia and Imperial College London. As a Lead Simulation Engineer and Aerospace Engineer with over a decade of experience, Joshua specialises in multi-physics analysis and simulation-driven design optimisation. His roles involve translating complex physical phenomena into high-fidelity virtual models to solve challenging engineering problems and accelerate product development for clients across the aerospace, energy, and product design sectors.
His expertise spans Computational Fluid-Dynamics (CFD), Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and advanced Fluid-Structure Interaction (FSI). He is passionate about developing more efficient engineering workflows, from creating automated analysis tools to managing large-scale parametric studies that generate the data needed for true design optimisation. He enjoys tackling complex challenges and delivering robust solutions that have a real-world impact.
Josh Fossey
Aeronautical and Design Engineer
Josh is a Design Engineer with over six years of experience with Swift TG Solutions in the aviation and engineering consultancy industries. He graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Master's Degree in Mechanical and Aerospace & Aerothermal Engineering and has a range of expertise, including in design, 3D modelling, theoretical calculations and simulations. Josh has experience using SolidWorks for CAD and the ANSYS simulation software suite for both FEA and CFD.
Julian Cole
Design Engineer
Julian is a design Engineer with over six years of experience in the aviation and engineering consultancy industries, during which he has honed his experience in design, 3D modelling, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulation. Julian holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Alberta, and has expertise in using both Solidworks and Ansys software packages.
